Brunnthal/Munich, Germany, May 3, 2021 – SFC Energy AG (F3C:DE, ISIN: DE0007568578), a leading supplier of hydrogen and methanol fuel cells for stationary and mobile hybrid power solutions, has received a first order from an oil company in Alberta for fully integrated frequency converters (VFDs). The order has a volume of more than CAD 2 million.

The VFD systems are used in electric pumps for oil production. They significantly reduce installation and operating costs. Other benefits include more efficient pump run times, optimized pump operation and increased oil production.
