SFC Energy receives largest US order in company history for more than 100 EFOY Pro 2400 Duo fuel cells from LiveView Technologies

Brunnthal/Munich, Germany, May 25, 2021 – SFC Energy AG (F3C:DE, ISIN: DE0007568578), a leading supplier of hydrogen and methanol fuel cells for stationary and mobile hybrid power solutions, continues its powerful business development.

With LiveView Technologies (LVT) SFC Energy wins another new customer. The company from Orem in the US state of Utah orders more than 100 EFOY Pro 2400 fuel cells through its sales partner LaTech Equipment.

The units are used in LVT’s rapid deployment trailers. These are mobile camera towers for video surveillance of various areas. For example, supermarket chains place the trailers in their parking lots for monitoring and more efficient use of parking spaces. On construction sites they protect against the intrusion of unauthorized persons. However, there is often no access to the conventional power grid at the locations of use. Therefore, the trailer needs a reliable and self-sufficient energy source to support the solar panel.

Until now, LVT relied on conventional generators for the Rapid Deployment Trailer. EFOY Pro fuel cells have numerous advantages over these. They consume significantly less fuel, operate more efficiently, are quieter and, above all, are more environmentally friendly. They do not emit harmful exhaust gases such as nitrogen oxides (NOx), carbon monoxide (CO) or particulate matter. Furthermore, fuel cells by SFC Energy are 95 % recyclable. This makes the technology a sustainable solution in every respect.

“This order is a milestone for our business development in the USA. With our EFOY Pro fuel cells, we offer our customer LiveView Technologies all options for a self-sufficient energy supply. Following our motto ‘Goodbye Diesel’, we replace less efficient generators with powerful, environmentally friendly fuel cells that complement solar components even better. In this way we support users through logistics and cost advantages”, says Hans Pol, COO of SFC Energy AG.

“We are excited to partner with SFC Energy to provide a rapidly deployable monitoring solution that can actually be placed anywhere – no power, no internet, no problem. EFOY Pro fuel cells replace conventional generators and end our dependence on solar power. This means we can still provide state-of-the-art security applications in areas where solar power is not an option. This hardware advancement, coupled with our unmatched cloud-based remote monitoring platform, solidifies our position as the leader in enterprise asset monitoring,” said Derek Boggs, Director of Marketing and Demand Generation at LiveView Technologies.
