ZSW invites to the 15th Ulm Electrochemical Talks (UECT)

By Werner Tillmetz on behalf of the organizing committee

Dear friend of the UECT,

I am delighted to invite you to the 15th Ulm Electrochemical Talks (UECT), which will again be an unique opportunity to meet world leading experts in the field of batteries, fuel cells and other electrochemical energy technologies.

The number of electric driven vehicles on the road has exceeded 1,3 million units worldwide – whether battery electric, fuel cell powered or plug-in-hybrids. At the same time electrical energy storage technologies in combination with renewable energies start to turn into attractive business cases. Fuel cells gain increasing interest in various markets, like residential power (150 000 units installed in Japan), material handling, back up power or transportation applications. With increasing market penetration lifetime and safety aspects in daily life become important for all these technologies.

Therefore the 2016 talks will focus on the topic of „Lifetime & Safety of Electrochemical Energy Technologies“

and will take place in Blaubeuren / Germany on
Wednesday, July 20th and Thursday, July 21st, 2016.

Our international recognized Scientific Committee has developed again a high quality program with speakers from all around the world, covering the most important activities in science, applied research and product development.

Looking forward to seeing you in Ulm,

Prof. Werner Tillmetz
